On Friday, July 3rd, Coach Lue and the C2C team hosted an incredible ribbon-cutting ceremony for O.G.'s, a newly renovated barbershop at the Garfield Legacy Center campus! O.G.'s is a nod to Ms. Olivia George, Coach Lue’s grandmother who passed away on June 25, 2026. O.G.’s was also created in the spirit of Rough’s barbershop which closed six years ago.

The  ribbon-cutting took place during the annual Community Day, a beloved tradition that’s been around for 15 years bringing Mexico-area residents together for fireworks, food trucks, and youth activities.

A huge thank you to all our amazing C2C partners, vendors, and most importantly, the incredible Mexico community for making the day so much fun and truly impactful!
